- une carte GIF animée,
- sur 4 ou 5 jours,
- mais REMONTANT le temps (reverse clockwise).

Peut-être intéressant pour titiller le neurone !

No problem with that, I really did not understand.

The trouble with routing from destination to start is that you do not know when to start looking at the destination. It will give you a route to the destination from anywhere on the ocean, but you have to calculate this over all possible times of arrival. Interesting of course for large fleets, there it might be a good idea...

Permettez-moi ici de vous proposer un outil de visualisation, que je trouve très intéressant : VirtualDub

Ce logiciel, sous GNU, est un serveur d'images (...), et ingéniéré pour la vidéo, mais englobe également les GIF animés !
De sorte qu'une séquence GIF animé, peut être visualisée par cet outil, avec une avance/rétro sur images gérée par curseur.
Très ergonomique !
Très intéressant pour un arrêt sur image, pour une avance sur quelques unes, ... , et pour une analyse de la carte.

On pourra exporter le gif animé vers un avi, ..., ...., ....

Pourquoi je vous en parle ? Tout simplement pour libérer la vision du gif animé. Et pour vous en faciliter l'étude des cartes proposées !

Avec un tel outil, la discussion de carte animées dans le sens avant/rétro devient caduque ...
Néanmoins, je propose de poursuivre la présentation des cartes gifs animés en rétro pour cette régate.

If this is annoying, especially at the intuition level (and not at the analytic level), one should simplify ! And consider some probable scenaris, just 2 or 3 ways.

But how to define them ?

I should say, the intuition knows somewhat about mean ship speed, even over the forthcoming 2-3 days at sea.
Let's assume such a rough mean speed at 17-19-21 knts.
Longer is the forthcoming horizon, rougher is the mean speed range.
This gives us a first locus for the ship within 3 days.
Then retrospectivelly, wif animated maps, one should fit these intermediate destination, with MET feasible route.

Si c'est ennuyant, surtout au niveau de l'intuition (et non au niveau d'analyse), il faut simplifier! Et certains considèrent probable scenaris, juste 2 ou 3 façons.

Mais comment les définir?

Devrais-je dire, l'intuition sait peu sur la vitesse moyenne des navires, même au cours des prochains jours en mer 2-3.
Supposons que cette vitesse moyenne à grossière 17-19-21 nds.
Plus long est le prochain horizon, plus difficile est la vitesse moyenne gamme.
Cela nous donne un premier lieu pour le navire à moins de 3 jours.
Puis retrospectivelly, wif cartes animées, il faut équiper ces destination intermédiaire, avec MET faisable itinéraire.
